pillows, charming and affordable

I came across these lovely felt pillows on Etsy from Cheryland. If I had a kid's room, they'd make a wonderful addition at 7 bucks a pop.

floral finds
With the temps in the teens, perhaps I just have spring on the brain, but there are some really nice florals over at Anthro at the moment. Clockwise, from top left: colossal bloom rug, mauve; verdant acres dinnerware; recherche dessert plates; colossal bloom rug, rouge.

obama style
Word is out that West Coast decorator Michael S. Smith will be POTUS's official White House interior decorator. Michael S. Smith Houses from Rizzoli showcases Smith's "traditional yet not pedantic" style. He has a consistent ability to draw together eclectic elements, good for inspiration, even if you – like me – consider his overall taste conservative.
