table grill

Now that summer has finally arrived in the Northeast after seemingly endless spring cold and rain, it seems fair to think about summery things like grilling. I've always liked this table grill by Eva Solo, which I re-discovered on Remodelista's (one of my favorite blogs) new beta site. I wish I had a deck or fire escape to put it on.

Safe to say that everything in Ruiz + Company's portfolio is AMAZING. I really like their minimalist and tasteful style. Above: Palau Música Catalana catalog, 2008.

This post is for my oldest and dearest friend, Anna, because this lovely British store, Rocket St George — where I found this ceramic bird salt dish and cake knife — reminds me of her. via Oh Joy

enamelware

We're really into enamel these days. These vintage-looking pans are from Manufactum, a German company with a great philosophy.

FLOWmarket

flowmarket.png
One of the cooler ideas I've seen in a while: FLOWmarket, the creation of Danish designer Mads Hagstroem, addresses "imbalances" in "individual, collective and environmental flow," transforming them into "aesthetically designed (empty) packings with humorous and thought awakening" text. via carpe+item
