Summer is in full swing in New York, with more than a couple of days of 90+ weather under the belt, it couldn't be a better time for gelato. The Italian gelateria, Grom, recently opened on Bleecker and Carmine and last Friday I couldn't resist an invitation to try it out. When you are in Italy or New York, I highly recommend their nocciola.

These new nesting boxes from West Elm caught my eye. I like the hat-box-turned-storage concept and simple graphics. 

USB vacuum

I have a total love-hate relationship with Urban Outfitters—I'd like to think more hate than love—but there's no denying that once and a while they have something pretty damn neat. You have to admit this keyboard vacuum is kind of awesome.

lacquer from publique living

These nice, clean lined modular units from Publique Living are lacquer over plywood. They remind me of the palasets we had in our house when I was a kid.

The London apartment of Harriet Maxwell MacDonald (featured on dominomag.com) is such an inspiration. It's the perfect mix of modern and classic and the colors are beautiful.
