My question is: why wouldn't you buy a pair of these for $17.95 and head over to your local shoe repairman for some glue and soles?

Bloch, maker of ballet shoes, starting selling everyday footwear for a pricey penny, too. They're pretty much colored ballet shoes with a hard sole for upwards of $100. Cute, but pricey.
